Okay, so this little pink mixer looked SO cute in the product photos – like it would solve all my paint-mixing struggles. First impressions? The color is adorable and it's surprisingly lightweight.

BUT here's the tea: the motor sounds like a dying mosquito. Like, my cat ran out of the room when I turned it on. Also, after just 30 seconds of use, the metal part got so hot I could probably fry an egg on it.

Pro tip: You NEED to thin your paints WAY more than you'd expect. My Himi gouache was still too thick even after adding water. Ended up using a chopstick first (how very medieval of me) before this gadget could handle it.

On the bright side? It did eventually mix my colors evenly once I figured out the right consistency. And that pink color really does spark joy on my messy art desk.
