Let's talk about the mDesign Steel Freestanding Storage Organizer. I've been using this in my tiny bathroom for about three months now, and it's been a love-hate relationship.
The good: This thing is a space-saver champion! In my postage-stamp sized bathroom, it fits perfectly next to the toilet without making the space feel cramped. The three-tier design holds all my essentials - extra towels, toilet paper rolls, and even my collection of bath bombs (don't judge). The chrome finish looks surprisingly upscale for the price point.
Assembly was a breeze - took me about 10 minutes without any tools. Just snap the pieces together and you're good to go. I particularly like how the open wire design lets my towels air out instead of getting musty in a closed cabinet.
Now for the not-so-good: The stability is... questionable. Like several reviewers mentioned, those two tiny screws don't inspire confidence. Mine wobbles if I bump into it while reaching for toilet paper at 2 AM. I solved this by placing some non-slip pads under the legs - problem mostly fixed!
The baskets are shallower than they appear in photos. My tall shampoo bottles tend to tip over unless I lay them sideways. And while it hasn't rusted yet (fingers crossed), I'm keeping an eye on that after reading other reviews.
Bottom line? If you need affordable, space-saving storage and don't mind giving it some stability reinforcements, this could work well. But if you want something rock-solid or live in a humid environment, you might want to keep looking.
