Okay, so I've been using this JOOPSHEE card reader for about 3 months now, and here's my real talk review.
First off - the convenience factor is insane. I can transfer photos from my DSLR to my iPhone while charging it at the same time? Game changer for when I'm out shooting all day. The plug-and-play setup actually works (shocking for tech accessories these days).
The transfer speeds are decent - not lightning fast but definitely faster than waiting for cloud uploads. My RAW files move over in a reasonable time. Though heads up - it struggled a bit with my 4K video files.
Build quality seems solid so far. Much better than those flimsy $5 readers that break after two uses. The USB-C connection fits snug in my MacBook, though I did have to wiggle it a bit to connect to my friend's iPad Air.
Weird quirk: The microSD slot is TIGHT. Like, almost too tight at first. But after some use it's gotten easier to insert cards without feeling like I'm going to break something.
Would I buy again? Yeah, probably. It's not perfect but it does what I need without any major headaches. Just wish the USB-C connection was more universal across devices.
