Alright, so I finally got around to installing this Flamorrow line set for my mini-split AC. Here's the real talk.
The good? The insulation is THICC. Like, triple-layer fortress-level protection. No joke, it feels like it could survive a zombie apocalypse. Installation was pretty straightforward too - the pre-flared ends saved me from my usual 'why won't this seal properly?!' meltdown.
But here's the big BUT (and it's a big one)... That 'copper aluminum' description? More like 'aluminum with tiny copper bookends'. Only about 8 inches of actual copper on each end - the rest is all aluminum. Feels kinda misleading when you're expecting full copper quality.
For basic setups, it does the job fine. No leaks so far after 2 months of brutal summer use. But if you're looking for premium copper throughout? Might want to keep shopping or at least know what you're really getting here.
Final verdict: It works, but don't buy it thinking you're getting a full copper line set. The price reflects what it actually is - an aluminum line set with copper connectors.
