Okay, so I've been using this HIPPUS projector for about 3 months now, and it's been... an experience. Let me break it down for you.
First off - the picture quality? AMAZING. Like seriously, I projected onto my slightly textured living room wall and it looked better than my friend's $2000 home theater setup. The auto-keystone correction is magic - no more stacking books under one side!
The Android TV integration was perfect... at first. Binged Netflix like crazy those first few weeks. But here's the tea - suddenly in July most apps stopped working? Like what kind of nonsense is that? Now I'm stuck using YouTube like some peasant.
Portability gets 10/10 though. Took this baby camping and we had an outdoor movie night that made us feel fancy AF. Bluetooth speaker pairing saved the day since the built-in speakers are kinda weak.
Would I recommend it? Maybe? If you're cool with potentially needing to HDMI connect your laptop later when apps mysteriously stop working... But for the price? Still kinda worth it for that sweet 4K projection life.
