Okay, so I finally got my hands on these metallic pigment powders and I have THOUGHTS. First off - the colors? STUNNING. That antique gold shade had me doing a little happy dance when I swatched it.
The texture is super fine, like fairy dust but make it artsy. A tiny scoop goes SO far in resin - my first test batch looked like liquid metal (in a good way). Pro tip: wear gloves unless you want mermaid hands for days.
That said... the settling issue is REAL. Had to shake those jars like maracas before use. Maybe store them upside down? Still, once mixed properly, the payoff is worth it.
Used them for:
- Resin coasters (that copper tho 😍)
- Clay jewelry accents
- Even mixed some into clear nail polish (10/10 would recommend)
Only wish the jars were bigger because now I want to put this stuff on EVERYTHING. My epoxy projects went from 'meh' to 'whoa' real quick.
PS - The black mica powder gives the coolest gunmetal effect. Just saying.
