Okay, so I got this 8K HDMI extension cable thinking it would solve all my gaming setup problems. Spoiler alert: it did... and also didn't.
The good stuff first - this little guy is PERFECT for my PS5 slim setup. The 90-degree angle means I can finally have my console standing vertically without that awkward cable bulge. And guess what? It doesn't block the ethernet port! Major win for clean setups.
Now the not-so-good part... Tried using it with my fancy new 4090 GPU and LG OLED monitor at 1440p/240Hz? Total disaster. Constant flickering like a strobe light at a rave. Removed the adapter? Problem gone instantly. So yeah, maybe not the best for high refresh rate PC gaming.
But for regular TV and console use? Absolute champ. The picture quality at 4K is buttery smooth, and the short length keeps everything tidy behind my entertainment center.
Final verdict: Great for consoles and normal TV use, but maybe look elsewhere if you're pushing super high refresh rates on PC.
