I've been using these colorful USB drives for about three months now, mostly for transferring audiobooks to my dad's tablet (he struggles with touchscreens). The swivel design is legit—no cracked caps like my old plastic drives, and the keyring hole means I haven't lost a single one in my chaotic bag.
The FAT32 format works fine for my needs, though I did have to split a 5GB movie file once. Transfer speeds? Don't expect miracles—it took me 25 minutes to move 6GB of vacation photos. Not great when you're in a hurry, but tolerable for occasional use.
Out of the 20 drives, two were DOA (wouldn't register on any device), which is annoying but expected at this price point. The working ones have survived being tossed in my toolbox, dropped in coffee (oops), and even went through the washing machine once (keyring saved it!).
Pro tip: Stick to smaller files—they're perfect for distributing PowerPoints at workshops or loading MP3 playlists for road trips. Just don't rely on them for time-sensitive backups or large video transfers.
