Okay, so I've been playing with this Mars Black pigment for a few weeks now and here's the real tea ☕
First off - the COLOR IS INSANE. Like seriously, it makes other black pigments look like sad gray imposters. I used it in epoxy resin and wow, just a tiny bit gave me that perfect gothic black I was craving.
The coverage is chef's kiss 💋 When I messed up a spray paint job (we've all been there), this stuff saved my project by covering all the ugly runs.
BUT... (and this is a big but) those CHUNKS! Some particles are like mini boulders that refuse to mix properly. I had to play archaeologist and crush each one individually. Not exactly the zen art experience I signed up for.
Also PSA: The listing picture showed Burnt Sienna but description said Mars Black? Pick a struggle Amazon 😂 Luckily I wanted black anyway.
Final verdict? 4/5 stars because when it works, it WORKS. Just be ready to put in some elbow grease with those stubborn chunks!
