I recently got the Waziaqoc Aquarium Fish Net, and overall, it's been a decent addition to my fishkeeping toolkit. The fine mesh is gentle on my delicate shrimp and small fish, which was a big plus. I’ve had nets in the past that snagged fins, but this one feels much safer.
The retractable handle is convenient for reaching into deeper parts of my tank without getting my sleeves wet. However, I do wish it extended a bit longer—it’s not as long as I expected based on some reviews. If you have a tall tank, this might not be the best fit.
Durability is where I’m a bit torn. While the stainless steel frame feels sturdy, the mesh itself seems thin. It hasn’t torn yet, but I’m cautious when scooping up debris or food from the bottom. For light use, it works fine, but if you’re rough with it, I can see it wearing out quickly.
For the price, it’s an okay net—good for occasional use but not something I’d rely on for heavy-duty tank maintenance. If you need something gentle for small fish or shrimp and don’t mind the shorter handle, it’s worth considering.
