Okay, so I finally got my hands on this MEYSPRING charcoal black mica powder and WOW. First off, the color is insane—like a deep, shimmery black that looks almost galactic when mixed into epoxy resin.
I used it for a river table project (my first attempt!) and the way it created those mesmerizing cells and movement? Chef's kiss. A little goes a LONG way—seriously, half a teaspoon per cup of resin was plenty.
Bonus: It didn’t stain my workspace (major win for my clumsiness). Mixed like a dream with no clumps, and cured perfectly with my epoxy. Also tried swirling it post-pour like one reviewer suggested—game changer for texture!
10/10 would recommend to anyone doing resin art. Just ordered more for a geode coaster set. Obsessed!
