I’ve been using the Seaworks Steel Dual Feed Motor Flusher for a few months now, and overall, it’s a reliable tool for boat maintenance. The steel body feels sturdy, and the dual-flow design definitely improves water pressure compared to single-sided muffs I’ve used in the past. It’s become my go-to for flushing out salt after a day on the water.
One thing I appreciate is how easy it is to set up. Sliding the muffs over the lower unit intake is straightforward, and the 5/8-inch garden hose connection works seamlessly with my standard hose. I’ve used it on my Yamaha outboard without any compatibility issues—just attach, turn on the water, and let it do its thing.
That said, there are a couple of quirks. The rubber muffs could be more rigid; they sometimes collapse under high pressure, letting water escape instead of directing it into the engine. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does require occasional adjustments during use. Also, the hose threads are a bit shallow, so you really have to crank them tight to avoid leaks.
Despite these minor drawbacks, it’s held up well for routine flushes and winterizing with antifreeze. If you’re looking for durability and better cleaning power than basic plastic muffs, this is a solid choice—just keep an eye on the water flow to ensure your engine gets enough pressure.
