Let me start by saying this ground stand is a BEAST. I was skeptical about putting my expensive 24,000 BTU Senville unit on any old stand, but the galvanized steel construction feels like it could survive a hurricane. The rubber pads actually make a noticeable difference in vibration noise - my unit runs quieter now than when it was wall-mounted!
The adjustable height (4-12 inches) came in clutch during our rainy season. We get occasional flooding in my area, and being able to raise the condenser just high enough to avoid water damage while keeping it stable was perfect. The UV coating still looks new after 6 months of Texas sun.
Now for the not-so-great part: the instructions might as well be hieroglyphics. I'm pretty handy, but I ended up watching a YouTube video to figure out assembly. The included hardware had some odd sizing - had to make a trip to Home Depot for proper fitting screws. Pro tip: test fit everything before fully tightening!
Despite the assembly headache, once installed this thing hasn't budged an inch. My AC tech actually complimented the stability during his last maintenance visit. Just wish they'd include clearer diagrams or QR codes linking to installation videos.
