Just got my hands on the OXS Storm G2 wireless gaming headset, and here's my honest take after a week of use.
The sound quality is impressive for the price. The 50mm drivers deliver deep bass and crisp highs, especially in surround mode. Gaming feels immersive with the 7.1 virtual surround - footsteps in FPS games are directional and clear.
Comfort is a big plus. The memory foam ear cushions are soft, and I've worn them for 4-hour sessions without discomfort. The adjustable headband helps distribute weight evenly.
However, there are some drawbacks. Like others mentioned, you can't use them while charging - a baffling omission for a $70+ gaming headset. Also, while the mic quality is decent for team chat, it's not studio-grade by any means.
The multi-platform compatibility works as advertised. I've used it with my PC (2.4GHz dongle), phone (Bluetooth), and even my Switch (wired). Switching between devices is seamless.
Battery life exceeds expectations - I got about 38 hours with RGB lights on medium brightness before needing to recharge.
Overall: Great value if you prioritize sound and comfort over premium build materials. Just know you'll need to take breaks when charging.
