Let me start by saying this busbar is an absolute unit. The moment I unboxed it, the weight and thickness of the copper bar surprised me - this thing means business. At about a foot long, it's larger than most busbars I've worked with, making it perfect for my RV battery bank setup.
The nickel-plated copper construction feels premium, and during installation, I could immediately tell the difference in conductivity compared to cheaper alternatives. It handled my 48V system with ease, staying cool even under heavy loads that would make lesser busbars sweat.
Now for the elephant in the room - that plastic cover. While the flame-retardant material is technically adequate, I agree with other reviewers that it feels flimsy for such a serious piece of equipment. After installing mine in the RV's electrical compartment, I ended up adding some extra insulating material around it for peace of mind.
Despite this minor issue, the performance is outstanding. The M10 terminals accommodated all my connections without fuss, and after six months of use in various weather conditions (including some rough off-road trips), there's zero corrosion on the stainless steel studs.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely - but budget for some additional insulation if you're installing in a space where accidental contact might be possible. For serious power distribution needs, this busbar delivers where it counts.
