The polarized lenses actually work—no more squinting at glare off car windshields during my commute. They cut reflections without making everything look unnaturally dark, which cheaper polarized sunglasses often do.

The metal frame feels sturdy but doesn’t weigh down on my nose, even during long drives. I was worried about the ‘spring hinge’ feature being gimmicky, but it does help the glasses stay put when I’m active. That said, I did have one close call where the nose pad nearly popped off when I absentmindedly folded them one-handed—something to be mindful of.

Where these really shine (pun intended) is sun protection. After a full day hiking, my eyes weren’t fatigued at all.
