Okay, so I bought this wheat straw dinnerware set for my 2-year-old tornado (I mean, toddler) and here's the real tea...
First off, the colors are ADORABLE. Not too flashy but still fun – major win since most kids' tableware looks like a unicorn threw up on it. The plates have dividers which is PERFECT because my kid acts like different foods touching is a war crime.
The material feels surprisingly nice – not that cheap plastic vibe at all. They're lightweight but don't feel flimsy. We've had some dramatic table flips (toddler life, amirite?) and zero cracks so far!
BUT... the utensils? Meh. The forks and spoons bent like they're made of playdough on day two. We're sticking with our old metal ones.
Cleaning is stupid easy – toss everything in the dishwasher and boom, done. Microwave safe too which saves me from washing extra containers for reheating chicken nuggets (parenting hack!).
Overall? 4/5 stars. Would be perfect if they upgraded those wimpy utensils!
