Let me tell you, this Fan&Ran leather cover is the Goldilocks of notebook sleeves - not too big, not too small, but just right. After trying multiple covers (including some premium brands), I was shocked how perfectly this fits standard 3.5x5.5" Field Notes with zero wiggle room.

The thick, stiff leather gives it a clipboard-like writing surface that's been a game-changer when jotting notes on my lap or uneven surfaces. The grain is beautiful right out of the package, though I'd recommend conditioning it to really make it pop and prevent slight color transfer to notebooks.
