Just got my SAMSUNG The Terrace set up by the pool, and wow – the picture quality is insane! Even in direct sunlight, the colors pop and details stay crisp. The auto-brightness adjustment is a game-changer for outdoor viewing.
BUT... this thing is HEAVY (110lbs!). Had to reinforce my pergola before mounting. Also, the wall mount is super adjustable – I can tilt it perfectly for viewing from anywhere in the yard.
Major warning though: Saw multiple complaints about Samsung's customer service nightmares. One user had HDMI port issues right out of the box, and Samsung basically told them 'tough luck'. Another got a faulty screen after storing it for months (thankfully Amazon replaced it).
The smart features are lightning fast compared to my other TVs. Voice control works great outdoors too. Just be careful with that QR registration code – apparently it's been hacked!
After 8 months of light use (always covered!), mine developed a weird vertical black line. Now debating whether to fight with support or just accept that outdoor TVs might have shorter lifespans.
Verdict? Gorgeous when it works, but at this price point, the quality control and support issues are hard to swallow. Maybe wait for a sale or consider alternatives.
