Just got my hands on the Cuisinart CGS-1000 4-piece folding grill set, and here's my honest take after a few BBQs.
The folding design is GENIUS for storage - they tuck neatly into the included semi-rigid case that fits in my camping gear without hogging space. The velcro keeps everything secure during transport.
The tools feel surprisingly sturdy when unfolded (especially the tongs and spatula), though I agree with other reviewers about the fork being a bit stiff to open. Pro tip: Add colored keyrings to the zipper pulls - those black tabs disappear in the black case!
Where it falls short: The tongs flex too much when handling heavier meats, and that serrated spatula edge seems unnecessary. Also had one scary moment where a screw nearly came loose mid-grill - now I keep the hex key in the case.
Verdict? Great for casual picnics or tailgating with burgers/dogs, but serious grill masters might want heavier-duty tools. 3.5/5 stars for clever design with some execution flaws.
