Okay, so I wasn't expecting much from a budget cable, but this AmazonBasics tweed jacket one has been a pleasant surprise!
The 20ft length is perfect for my home studio setup - no more tripping over furniture to reach my amp. That braided tweed covering looks way more expensive than it actually is (my bandmates totally thought I splurged).
Sound quality? Crystal clear with zero hum or interference, which shocked me because my last 'budget' cable sounded like a beehive in a tin can. The oxygen-free copper really does make a difference.
After 3 months of daily use (and being stepped on more times than I can count), the connectors are still solid with no crackling. Though I wouldn't trust it for serious touring - the tweed fabric might not survive mosh pit conditions.
For bedroom guitarists or casual players, this is honestly all the cable you'll ever need. And at this price? Might grab a couple spares just because.
