Just finished reading Nobody's Fool and wow, what a rollercoaster! Harlan Coben does it again with this gripping thriller that had me hooked from page one.
The story follows Sami Kierce, a former detective turned criminology teacher, whose past comes crashing back when a woman he thought was dead walks into his classroom. The dual timelines and shocking revelations kept me guessing until the very end.
What I loved most was how real Sami felt as a character - his struggles, his marriage, his determination to uncover the truth. The supporting cast was equally well-developed, adding depth to an already complex plot.
The ending? Absolutely mind-blowing! While some reviewers mentioned predictability, I found the final twist completely unexpected. That cliffhanger has me desperately hoping for a sequel.
If you're new to Coben's work, this is a fantastic place to start. And if you're already a fan, you won't be disappointed. Five stars for keeping me up way past my bedtime!
