The 2.4GHz WiFi setup was smooth, though I wish it supported 5G too.

The real-time notifications are clutch. Whether I'm at work or out running errands, my phone buzzes the second my door opens or closes. Peace of mind? Check. The app lets me set schedules for when the alarm's active (like overnight), and I can even share access with family members so they get alerts too.

I've got this bad boy on my front door, but you could slap it on windows, cabinets – wherever really. It plays nice with Alexa and Google Assistant too. Though fair warning: you'll need to manually add it through the Treatlife app first. Battery life seems decent (comes with AAA batteries), and the low-power warning is a nice touch.

My only gripe? No Home Assistant compatibility out of the box (apparently there's some firmware flashing possible if you're tech-savvy). But for the price? Totally worth it for basic smart home security.
