Okay, so I've been using this automatic fish feeder with camera for about a month now, and wow - what a rollercoaster!
The GOOD: That 2K camera is AMAZING. I catch myself watching my fish during work meetings (don't tell my boss). Being able to check on them while traveling is next-level pet ownership. The app works surprisingly well once set up.
The ANNOYING: Setup was a NIGHTMARE. Like another reviewer, I struggled with the WiFi connection until I switched to USB-C power. Why don't they mention this in the manual? Also had to MacGyver the mounting bracket because it wouldn't fit my framed tank properly.
The UGLY: The feeder is super picky about food size. My larger flakes constantly jammed until I started crushing them into tiny pieces - so much for 'automatic' feeding! The small opening seems designed for microscopic fish food only.
Final verdict? If you have small pellet food and a rimless tank, this could be perfect. For everyone else... maybe wait for version 2.0?
