So I’ve been using these YIMI blue light glasses for a couple weeks now, and here’s the tea ☕.
The Good: First off, they *do* help with eye strain. My eyes feel way less fried after marathon work sessions. The amber tint is subtle (no weird color distortion), and they claim to block 99% of harmful blue light—which seems legit based on how much less my eyes ache now.
The Meh: Don’t buy these expecting real transition lenses. The ‘photochromic’ feature is basically nonexistent. Outdoors, they barely darken—just a faint gray tint. If you want actual sunglasses, look elsewhere.
The Sleep Factor: I’ve noticed I’m falling asleep easier at night since wearing these in the evening. Could be placebo, but hey, I’ll take it.
Final Verdict: Solid for screen use, but don’t believe the ‘sunglasses’ hype. Worth it if you’re glued to devices all day (🙋♀️ guilty).
