Just installed the Bosch BCC110 smart thermostat in my home, and here's my honest take after a week of use.
First off, the setup was surprisingly smooth. The touchscreen is crisp and responsive—way better than my old Honeywell. The app (EasyAir) feels modern, though I wish it had more customization options.
Compatibility is a strong suit. It plays nice with my dual-fuel HVAC system, and Alexa integration works flawlessly. No random disconnects (yet).
But... the room temp readings are occasionally off by 2-3°F? My bedroom feels like a sauna while the thermostat claims it's 'perfect.' Also, no remote sensors—why, Bosch?
The firmware update horror stories had me nervous, but mine auto-updated without bricking (fingers crossed). Still, seeing so many reports of failures makes me side-eye this thing daily.
Verdict: Great when it works, but feels like rolling dice. Would I recommend? Only if you're tech-savvy and ready to troubleshoot.
