I recently got my hands on the ZHENAN 12-pack feather badminton shuttlecocks, and here's my honest take after a few intense matches.
The first thing I noticed was the solid cork head—it gives these birdies a nice weight, making them stable in flight. Unlike cheaper alternatives that feel like they’re flying off unpredictably, these held their trajectory well during smashes and drops.
That said, durability is hit or miss. Some shuttlecocks lasted multiple games without fraying, while others showed wear after just one session. The feathers are thick and straight (a plus for consistency), but a few in my pack had uneven gaps, causing slight wobbles mid-air.
For casual play or training? Great value—especially if you’re tired of plastic alternatives. But competitive players might find inconsistencies frustrating. At this price, they’re decent for stocking up (kids losing them won’t sting as much), but don’t expect tournament-grade reliability.
