The touchless operation works impressively well in daily use. The sensor detects my hand instantly and dispenses just the right amount of foamy soap (you can adjust this between 6 levels). However, after about two months of use, I did experience some weird behavior. Occasionally at night, I'd hear the dispenser randomly activate when no one was near it.
