Okay, so I've been using this AB roller for about a month now, and here's my real talk review.
First off, the digital display is actually pretty cool! Being able to track reps, calories, and time makes me feel like I'm getting legit workout data. The auto-rebound feature works surprisingly well too - it does help with control during those tough ab rolls.
But... (and this is a big but) the elbow pads are just not cutting it. They're way too flat and hard - after two sessions my elbows were killing me. I ended up wrapping them with extra padding from my yoga mat which helped, but come on, shouldn't a product specifically designed for elbow support actually support your elbows?
The knee pad situation is just sad. It's basically a glorified placemat - so thin it's practically useless. I had to double up with towels to make it bearable.
On the plus side, I do like how it takes pressure off my wrists compared to regular planks. And the wider wheel design does feel more stable than cheaper models I've tried.
After about three weeks though, mine started making weird squeaky noises during use. Not exactly confidence-inspiring for a 'premium' product.
Would I recommend it? Maybe if you're willing to DIY some padding solutions and don't mind potential quality issues down the line. But at this price point, I expected better.
