Just installed the DuctlessAire DA-080 bracket for my mini-split AC, and wow—this thing is SOLID. The heavy-gauge steel feels like it could survive a hurricane, and the epoxy coating gives me peace of mind against rust. My unit isn’t going anywhere!
BUT—measure twice, folks! The universal design *almost* didn’t work for my setup. I had to get creative with the spacers (read: skipped them entirely and anchored directly into the sill). Not ideal, but it’s holding… for now. Would’ve been a disaster if my window was even slightly wider.
Installation was straightforward… if you ignore the microscopic instruction font. Seriously, why print manuals in size 4pt? Had to YouTube it like a true DIYer. Bonus points for the built-in bubble level though—my OCD appreciates the precision.
Price-wise? Absolute steal for this durability. Just pray your AC dimensions align perfectly, or you’ll be sweating more than that guy in Tucson staring at his uninstalled bracket for two summers straight.
