I was instantly drawn to this round red glass vase because of its promised vibrant colors and hand-blown artistry. The idea of a unique, funky centerpiece for my dining table had me excited.
When it arrived, I could see the craftsmanship - the shape was perfect and the glass had that lovely handmade irregularity. But the colors... they just didn't pop like in the product photos. My 'vibrant' vase looked more like it had been left in the sun too long.
I tried it in different spots - on my TV stand, as a flower vase with bright tulips, even on my office desk. But that dullness kept bothering me. It's like when you're expecting a bold statement piece but get background decor instead.
The size was actually perfect (about 7.5" tall), and I loved how stable it felt despite being hand-blown glass. If only those colors had been richer! I imagine this would be stunning if you get one with more pigment saturation.
In the end, I returned mine but I'm still thinking about how great it could have been. Maybe I'll try again hoping for a brighter batch - when that color works, this must be absolutely showstopping.
