The Good: This thing is STURDY. Like, ‘I-doubt-a-thief-could-even-bend-this’ sturdy. The stainless steel feels premium, and the anti-theft shroud over the eject hole is a nice touch. Installation took me 5 minutes—just twist the thumb screws, and boom, my doorbell isn’t going anywhere.

The Annoying: It ONLY works with the basic backplate, not the 30-degree angle adapter (why, universe?!). I MacGyvered mine with one screw and the included 3M tape to make it work, but c’mon—design this for the adapter next time!

Apartment Win: Perfect for my rental door—no damage, no landlord side-eye. The padding protects the door from scratches too. Charging is still a hassle (unscrewing every time), but that’s a Wyze design flaw, not this mount’s fault.
