As someone who spends hours staring at a laptop screen, I was skeptical about how much difference a blue light filter could make. But after using this 14-inch protector for a few weeks, I'm genuinely impressed.

The matte finish is my favorite part - it eliminates glare without making colors look washed out. Late-night work sessions no longer leave my eyes feeling like sandpaper. I didn't realize how much strain I was putting on my eyes until it was gone.

Installation was surprisingly easy. The included tools (though basic) got the job done when combined with a credit card from my wallet to smooth out bubbles. Pro tip: Go slow and follow the numbered steps exactly - rushing leads to bubbles around the edges.

On my touchscreen HP Envy, there's slightly more pressure needed for input recognition, but it's negligible unless you're constantly tapping the screen. The fingerprint resistance is a nice bonus that keeps my display looking clean.

The only minor drawback? There's a subtle graininess that's noticeable on high-resolution displays, especially with dark colors. But for me, the eye comfort benefits far outweigh this small trade-off.

At this price point (with two protectors included), it's been one of my better tech purchases this year. My only wish? That they'd include higher quality cleaning cloths in the package.
