Just got my hands on the Apexcam Action Camera and I gotta say, it's been a mixed bag of surprises. Here's my honest take after using it for a few weeks.
The 4K/60fps video quality is legit! I took it hiking and the footage came out crisp with vibrant colors. The touch screen is super responsive too - way better than fiddling with tiny buttons mid-adventure.
That waterproof case is no joke! Tested it at the beach and not a single drop got inside. The included 64GB card and extra battery were clutch - didn't have to buy anything extra to start shooting immediately.
BUT... that boot-up time? Painfully slow. Missed some great shots waiting for this thing to wake up. And don't get me started on the audio quality - my motorcycle rides sound like I'm inside a tin can.
The accessories kit is insane though! Mounts for days, remote control works like a charm, and that pre-rec feature saved me when a deer randomly crossed my path during a bike ride.
Would I recommend it? For the price, absolutely - just know it's not perfect. Bring patience for the boot time and maybe an external mic if audio matters to you!
