First impressions? This thing is HUGE. Like, way bigger than I expected. The solar panel is massive, and the light itself throws out serious illumination—like, 'can probably see it from space' levels of bright.
Installation was stupid easy. Just unscrewed the old ornament and screwed this bad boy on. Took maybe 2 minutes while holding a coffee. Though heads up—it doesn’t come with a pole (my bad for not reading carefully).
The brightness is insane at first—like stadium lights level—but it does dim after a few hours. Still keeps the flag visible all night though, which is the whole point. Battery life seems solid so far, even after some cloudy days.
My only gripe? The price feels steep for just the light unit. Good flag poles aren’t cheap either, so this becomes an investment fast. But if it lasts through winter storms? Worth every penny.
Neighbors definitely noticed (got a 'your flag looks presidential' comment). 9/10 would recommend—just measure your pole first!
