Okay, so my professor made us buy this Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination textbook. Came sealed and shiny new - at least the packaging was decent!
But oh boy... reading this thing is like watching paint dry. They somehow managed to take what could be fascinating real-life financial crime stories and turn them into the most boring academic sludge.
And get this - even the CASEBOOK section had typos! Like, if you can't proofread the actual case examples about fraud detection, doesn't that kinda undermine the whole point?
Seriously though, why do textbooks always have to be so painfully dull? It's like they're actively trying to make learning as miserable as possible. I swear I aged 5 years just getting through chapter 3.
The only fraud here might be charging $200 for a book that puts you to sleep faster than melatonin gummies.
