I was excited to jazz up my SUV with the ramuel decal kit, hoping for that sleek, sporty look. The glossy black finish looked sharp out of the package—exactly as advertised. Installation started off promising; the side skirts and mirror decals went on smoothly with just a bit of water and a squeegee. They adhered well, and after a week, they still look like lightning bolts against my car’s paint.
But the hood decal? A nightmare. Despite laying it flat for days, the vinyl wrinkled like an old shirt. We tried every trick—heat gun, more water, even begging—but those wrinkles refused to budge. Ended up trashing it, which stung after shelling out for the full set.
On the plus side, strangers keep complimenting the side decals (they do look cool), and removal is worry-free—no residue left behind. But buyer beware: this vinyl is thinner than others I’ve used. Bubbles pop up like uninvited guests, and the adhesive feels cheap compared to premium brands.
For the price, it’s a decent way to test a racing aesthetic without commitment. Just skip the hood piece unless you’re a vinyl-wrapping pro.
