Okay, so I wasn't expecting much for $3.99, but this little bell is LEGIT. The sound is crisp and loud - way better than those plastic horns that sound like dying geese.
The vintage frosted design actually looks classy on my kid's bike (got the sunflower one). Installation took 30 seconds... though PSA: it needs a 2.5mm hex wrench, NOT a Phillips screwdriver like the description says. Almost stripped mine before realizing!
Love how the silicone padding protects the handlebars. Only weird thing - if you don't tighten the dome just right, it won't ring properly. Took some trial and error to find the sweet spot.
Compared to my old rattly bell that sounded like loose change in a dryer? Night and day difference. Pedestrians actually hear this one! For under $5, it's shockingly good quality - all metal construction that should last way longer than cheaper plastic ones.
Would be perfect if they included the right wrench though *side-eye*. Still - cute, functional, and doesn't look like an eyesore on the bike. Kid loves pressing it constantly (send help).
