Okay, so I finally caved and bought these Coutgo booties after stalking them for weeks. Here’s the tea ☕️:
First off—YES, they’re adorable. The cut-out details and chunky heel give major vintage cowboy vibes without looking costume-y. I wore them to a brunch date with jeans and got three compliments before I even sat down.
BUT let’s talk sizing drama. The reviews weren’t lying—these run SMALL. I’m usually a solid 7.5, but had to exchange for an 8.5 (!!). Even then, the toe box feels snug if I wear thicker socks. If you’re between sizes or have wider feet, definitely size up at least half a size.
Comfort level? Surprisingly decent for a heel! Walked 4 hours straight at a street fair with minimal complaining from my feet. The cushioned insole helps, though I wouldn’t attempt an all-day museum marathon in them.
Color is perfection—like a warm taupe-gray that goes with literally everything in my closet from black dresses to denim skirts.
Final verdict? 4/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lose one star for the sizing roulette, but otherwise these are my new go-to statement boots for fall!
