Let me start by saying this ab roller is a beast when it comes to core workouts. The automatic rebound feature is no joke - after just two days of use, my abs were screaming (in a good way). The way it supports your lower back while rolling back really isolates those abdominal muscles like nothing else I've tried.
The dual-wheel design makes balancing significantly easier compared to single-wheel rollers I've used before. And yes, that little phone slot is handy for following along with workout videos, though I don't use it much either. The included knee pad, while thin, does provide basic comfort during floor exercises.
Now for the not-so-great parts: The handles are frustratingly loose. They stay on during use but pop off constantly when moving the roller around. Also, taller users might struggle with the rebound mechanism - mine occasionally 'pops' and loses tension mid-roll, requiring constant resetting.
Assembly is dead simple (just pop in the handles), making it great for apartment workouts. But be warned - some units seem to have durability issues with the rebound mechanism failing after several weeks of use.
For the price, it delivers solid ab workouts but has some quality control issues to consider. If you're okay with occasionally fighting the handles and potential mechanism quirks, it's a decent home gym addition.
