Let me start by saying this TV is a visual masterpiece. The moment I turned it on, the NEO QUANTUM HDR 8K+ display blew me away. Watching dark scenes in 'The Batman' was an entirely new experience - I could see every shadow detail in Gotham's alleyways that I'd missed before.
The AI upscaling works surprisingly well. My old Blu-rays looked almost 4K quality, and actual 8K content? Jaw-dropping. Gaming on this with my PS5 felt like peering through a window rather than watching a screen.
However... (and this is a big however) the build quality concerns me. After just two months of gentle use, I noticed slight backlight bleeding in one corner. Nothing catastrophic yet, but it makes me nervous given other users' reports of complete screen failures.
The flush wall mount is genius for minimalist spaces - my living room looks like a futuristic art gallery with just this slim black rectangle on the wall. But installation was nerve-wracking given how thin the TV is - I was terrified of flexing the panel.
Sound quality with Dolby Atmos is theater-grade when paired with Samsung's soundbar (which you'll absolutely want to buy). Dialogue comes through crystal clear even during explosive action scenes.
Would I recommend it? If money is no object and you're willing to gamble on potential reliability issues, yes - nothing else compares visually right now. But buy the extended warranty. Seriously. That extra $300 could save you from a $3,400 paperweight.
