Let me start by saying this charger is a LIFESAVER for my old Club Car. The lightweight design (only 5.9 lbs!) makes it so easy to carry from my garage to the golf course - no more wrestling with heavy OEM chargers. It plugs right into standard outlets and the crowfoot connector fits perfectly.

The charging speed is impressive - my drained batteries get juiced up much faster than with my old charger. The two LED lights are bright and visible, though I wish the manual explained their meanings better. Like one reviewer mentioned, I only saw red lights during charging, then a surprise green light appeared when unplugging.

MAJOR WARNING THOUGH: This thing is NOT waterproof at all! Mine got caught in light drizzle during an unexpected rain shower and completely died - no fuse blown, just total failure. Keep it dry at all costs!

Another odd quirk - I'm not entirely convinced about the 'automatic' features. Left plugged in overnight, it seemed to keep charging indefinitely without switching to float mode as advertised. I now set timers to avoid overcharging.

For the price, it's decent if you need a portable solution and can protect it from moisture. But if you want foolproof operation or need to charge in damp conditions, you might want to look at more premium options.
