I've been using the AmorArc Ceramic Dinnerware Set for about three months now, and it's been a mixed experience. The wavy rim design is absolutely gorgeous - it's the first thing my guests notice when they come over for dinner. The speckled cappuccino white color gives my table setting an elegant, modern look that works equally well for casual weeknight meals and special occasions.
The durability claims are where things get tricky. While I haven't experienced any chipping (and I've dropped a bowl once - oops!), I have noticed some fine scratches appearing, especially on the dinner plates. They're not super obvious unless you look closely, but it's disappointing considering the 'scratch-resistant' promise. Microwave use has been fine so far, though one reviewer mentioned a shattered piece, which makes me nervous.
What I really appreciate is how well these stack in my crowded cabinets. The nesting design saves so much space compared to my old dishes. The bowls are slightly smaller than I'd prefer - perfect for cereal but a bit tight for hearty soups. The plates, though, are generously sized at 10.5 inches - great for those nights when I pile on the veggies.
The matte glaze feels premium in hand, with just enough texture to prevent slipping but still smooth to the touch. After dozens of dishwasher cycles, the color hasn't faded at all, which is impressive. However, I did notice some slight discoloration on one plate where I left tomato sauce overnight - a good reminder to rinse before loading.
Would I recommend them? With reservations. They're beautiful and functional for daily use if you don't mind some minor wear showing over time. But if you're looking for indestructible 'looks-new-forever' dishes or need larger bowls, you might want to keep shopping.
