Okay, so I've been playing with this LyxJam controller for about a week now, and here's the real tea ☕
The good stuff first: This thing looks and feels PRO. The jog wheels are buttery smooth, the build quality is surprisingly solid for the price, and when it works... oh man does it make you feel like a real DJ! The RGB pads are super responsive and the LCD display is actually helpful.
But... (big but incoming) the Virtual DJ compatibility issues are REAL. Like why does my crossfader ghost me every other mix? And don't get me started on driver hunting - felt like I needed a tech degree just to get basic functions working.
Pro tip: If you're buying this, be ready for some tinkering. The included software key was buried in my packaging (check under all the foam!) and setup took way longer than expected.
Final verdict? Great for bedroom DJs who don't mind troubleshooting, but if you need plug-and-play reliability for gigs... maybe keep looking.
