Just installed these Zoom H875E hydraulic brakes on my e-bike, and wow – they stop on a dime! The dual-piston calipers feel super sturdy, and the power-off sensor works perfectly with my Bafang system.
The build quality is impressive – CNC aluminum body looks sleek (love the black/red combo), and the lever action is buttery smooth. No squealing or weird noises like my old brakes used to make.
BUT... zero instructions included. Had to become a YouTube mechanic overnight to figure out the hydraulic line routing and bleeding process. Not beginner-friendly at all.
Also, the power cutoff cable runs a bit short depending on your bike setup. Mine barely reached the controller with some creative cable management.
Once dialed in though? Amazing stopping power that makes my daily downhill commute way safer. Just be ready for some DIY education if you're new to hydraulic systems!
