Okay, so I just got these Powermax 312 hearing aid batteries, and I have THOUGHTS.
First off, the battery life is legit. I wear my hearing aids like 14 hours a day, and these lasted a full week. That's way better than some other brands I've tried. No weird sound drops or anything - just consistent power.
But oh my GOD the packaging. I get that there's some Reese's Law thing about child safety (which is important!), but this is ridiculous. I had to use scissors just to get ONE battery out. Like... what am I supposed to do when I'm out at dinner and need to change batteries? Carry a whole toolkit?
Pro tip: I ended up cutting open all the packages at home and storing the batteries in an old pill bottle. Works fine, but kinda defeats the whole child-safe packaging thing, doesn't it?
Price-wise, they're decent for 60 count. Not the absolute cheapest, but good value for how long they last.
Bottom line: Great batteries trapped in packaging hell. If you can deal with that (or have a workaround), they're worth it for the performance.
