Just got my hands on the FLASHFORGE AD5M 3D printer, and wow—this thing is a game-changer! Right out of the box, it was super easy to set up. No complicated calibration or leveling tools needed—just one-click auto-leveling, and you're good to go.
The speed is insane! At 600mm/s, it prints faster than any other printer I've used. And despite the speed, the quality is top-notch. The CoreXY all-metal structure keeps everything stable, even at high speeds. Plus, the enclosed design really cuts down on noise and fumes.
I love the quick-swap nozzles—takes less than 3 seconds to change them out. But heads up: replacement nozzles are a bit pricey (~$30 each). If you print a lot of abrasive materials, this could add up. Still, the convenience is worth it for most users.
The Flash Maker app is a nice touch too. Being able to monitor prints remotely and adjust settings on the fly is super handy. And if the power goes out? No worries—it resumes right where it left off.
My only gripe? The slicer software (Flashforge) isn't my favorite, but thankfully it works well with Orca Slicer. Also, the fans are loud—like, really loud. But if you can overlook that (or wear headphones), this printer is a solid choice for beginners and pros alike.
Overall? 9/10. Fast, reliable, and packed with features that make 3D printing almost effortless.
