Just got my hands on these FONMANG swimbaits, and wow—they’re massive! The size alone tells me these aren’t for dink bass. If something bites, it’s gonna be a tank. The steel-jointed design feels way sturdier than those flimsy fabric-connected lures I’ve snapped before.
The action? Unreal. Tossed it in the shallows, and the 3D scales and rattles had me double-checking if it was *actually* a real bluegill. Slow retrieve? Wiggles like an injured baitfish. Fast retrieve? Pure chaos—big fish won’t resist.
Downside: Storage is a puzzle. My tackle box barely fits one diagonally, forget stacking. And those Mustad hooks? Razor-sharp—almost hooked my thumb just unboxing (user error, obviously).
Verdict: For the price, three lures this quality is a steal. Already planning to gift these to my fishing buddy… after I land a PB with them first.
