Let me start by saying this dough mixer has become my new baking BFF. As someone who makes bread at least twice a week, I can confidently say this machine has saved me hours of kneading time and wrist pain.
The 7L capacity is perfect when I'm baking for family gatherings - it easily handles enough dough for 4 large loaves. The stainless steel whisk feels sturdy and hasn't shown any signs of wear after months of use.
What really surprised me was the fermentation function. My first attempt produced the most perfectly risen dough I've ever made at home. The small top window is genius - no more messy flour clouds when adding last-minute ingredients.
However, it's not perfect. Like other reviewers mentioned, small batches (under 3 cups flour) don't mix well - the dough just spins around the whisk without proper kneading. And while it claims to reach 100°F for fermentation, mine never gets above 78°F.
The cleaning is surprisingly easy though - just wipe down the bowl and detachable parts. Much simpler than my stand mixer with all its nooks and crannies.
If you're serious about bread-making but hate kneading, this is absolutely worth it despite its minor flaws. Just don't expect it to replace your stand mixer for other tasks - it's strictly a dough specialist.
