OMG you guys! Just watched Jersey Boys and I'm still humming 'Sherry Baby'! 🎶 If you love 60s music, this is basically a time machine in DVD form.
At first I was like 'meh' with the slow start, but once Frankie's falsetto kicks in? GAME OVER. The way Clint Eastwood directed this makes you feel like you're backstage with The Four Seasons.
Pro tip: Watch out for that scene where they record 'Big Girls Don't Cry' - the studio magic moment gave me chills! Also lowkey fell in love with young Frankie Valli (no shame).
The drama between band members is juicier than my grandma's spaghetti sauce. Tommy DeVito? What a character! You'll hate him then kinda understand him then hate him again.
Bonus: Christopher Walken as a mob boss who loves doo-wop? Iconic. That man could read a phone book and I'd watch it.
Only complaint? Now I have 'Walk Like A Man' stuck in my head 24/7. Worth it though!
